The hunting gods are kind, or maybe the MNR, but either way I have a doe tag for WMU56. Hunting in comfort due to a good buddy's kindness, and nice lodging. He owns 50 acres, and has rights to the neighbours 50, so we have 100 ac. to range over. Though I'm still learning the lay of the land, I've found a few nice places with decent fields of fire where I can hide up and bide my time. To the rest of my fellow CGN'ers who applied, by best wishes for your good fortune!

Good luck in the hunt! If you know where you will be, sometimes dropping a few buckets of apples around will make for a good opening day...

I held my limit to 3 tags :p Coulda had 5 if I read it right.
My "Whitetail general" lets me take either a doe or a buck....and my "Whitetail supplimental lets me take 2 more "antlerless"
Life is good in Alberta. Oh also, the season in the WMU where I'm hunting has been extended by 20 more days....Nov 1 to Dec 20.
50 days.
