Got My First Handgun Yesterday - Glock 17 !!

Great choice, this is the best gun for a beginner. This is the one i bought first too and God i love this thing. It just shoot every time. If you can get an Advantage arms .22lr conversion kit, buy it, you don't gonna regret it. It's make practice even cheaper.

Dno't forget to post pics too!! Here is some of mine.

I've been thinking of getting a light also. How does it feel to shoot with it on? Is it rather front heavy or do you even notice it?

Thi one is the original from Glock, the finish is the same of the frame and the material too, so it's very light. i barely notice it when i am shooting. Great look too, but if i have to do it again i'll pick the model with a laser sight.

Be safe

Man, I love this thing !! :D
Shot off a couple of hundred rounds on my first day. :shotgun:
First three mags were all over the paper at 10 yards but then the shots have slowly started to group. I can keep most of them in the 6" diameter black now. Time to move the paper back a bit.

Mercury0_0, Love that custom slide cover.

SillyMike, that carbine is over the top!

I looked into the Advantage Arms .22lr conversion kit but I can't decide whether or not to buy it or a whole new pistol.

Pics to come
