Got My First Handgun Yesterday - Glock 17 !!

I've been working on getting a handgun since the beginning of March.

Great choice! Hope you enjoy it. I personally think they are a great gun, and the 9mm is a relatively inexpensive round to shoot. Let us know how it goes on your first time shooting it.

Great choice, this is the best gun for a beginner. This is the one i bought first too and God i love this thing. It just shoot every time. If you can get an Advantage arms .22lr conversion kit, buy it, you don't gonna regret it. It's make practice even cheaper.

Excellent choice. I've got 5000+ rds through mine and have had two stoppages. Both were my fault (limp wristing it). Excellent pistols in my opinion......

Thi one is the original from Glock, the finish is the same of the frame and the material too, so it's very light. i barely notice it when i am shooting. Great look too, but if i have to do it again i'll pick the model with a laser sight.

Man, I love this thing !!
Shot off a couple of hundred rounds on my first day.
First three mags were all over the paper at 10 yards but then the shots have slowly started to group. I can keep most of them in the 6" diameter black now. Time to move the paper back a bit.

I looked into the Advantage Arms .22lr conversion kit but I can't decide whether or not to buy it or a whole new pistol.
