I went out with my grandpa trap shooting last weekend, I went once ten years ago so this was basically my first time. I bought myself a Browning Citori Trap XT. My first round I shot 19/25, I shot 5 rounds through the day, my worst was 18/25 and my best was 21/25. I was pretty happy with that and the people there shooting didn't believe that it was my first time. I thought I would be hitting around 10-15 so I surprised myself quite a bit. My grandpa gave me a few pointers but said all I picked it up very naturally. I am excited to get back out there in a couple weeks from now to see how I can do! Also I'm having a hard time finding shells locally for a good price, if you guys could point me in the direction of a place that sells flats of shells for a good price that would be great. Thanks a lot.

Wonderful! Enjoy those times with your Grandpa, those memories will be with you for the rest of your life and they probably will mean a great deal to your Grandpa.

The gun fits you and being young your eyes and reflexes work well.

Sorry, but I don't know where to buy shells in BC, but if you come to Ontario, I can help you out.

Thanks guys, yea I thought it would be good to get some time with the old guy doing something he enjoys. He has been trap shooting since the 60's. We went to the Vernon trap and skeet club.

If you go down and see Bruce Davies at Coldstream truck parts in Vernon He should have winchester super target trap loads at around 60.00 a flat he also sells AA's but they are more of course. Bruce is past president of the North okanogan trap and skeet club and brings in pallet loads of shells to sell.
