I finally got my free bullets from Hornady. Well, not totally free, but really inexpensive for very expensive bullets. For those guys that want to get their free bullets here's what I did.
  1. Bought a Hornady AP press
  2. Cut out the UPC code
  3. Mailed the UPC code with the coupon and a money order for shipping to Hornady
  4. Had Hornady ship the bullets to Mike at reloadinginternational.com
  5. I then applied for an import permit through Excol
  6. I received the permit 8 days later
  7. Mailed the permit and a signed PO to Mike
  8. Mike applied for an export permit (he did it online and it only took a week - new system I guess)
  9. Once the permits were approved he shipped the bullets through USPS to me
  10. Bullets arrived at my door:dancingbanana:
The total time from sending the UPC code and coupon in the mail until the time I received the bullets was 11 weeks and one day exactly. Most of the time was waiting for Hornady to ship the bullets to Mike. Mike got the bullets 8 1/2 weeks after I mailed the coupon. It looks like Customs opened one of the two shipping boxes and then opened one of the boxes of 100 bullets and that was it. I can't wait to get my .50 350grain bullets. Should be quite a bit faster this time too.

There's a list of 13 bullets you can choose from.

I went a different route...

I found someone in USA to buy my 1000 bullets from me.

The bullets were delivered to their address.....They (FRAUD ALERT)'d me the money...and I ordered some other reloading accessories with the free-money.

As for the press....

Besides some priming issues it is pretty darn good press.

Did you pay them anything for this service or maybe buy the press or other stuff from them?

When you buy a press you get a coupon for 1000 free bullets. Unfortunately, they won't ship them to Canada. But they will ship them anywhere in the US. The bullets are free but the shipping is not. They want $21.95 US for shipping 1000 bullets. I filled out the coupon, and for the address I put down Mike's.

This is where you go to sign up for importing and exporting anything from and to Canada. Very easy.

Right, but then they ship them to Mike's who then forward them to you under the permit. I assume there's additional shipping charges for that, and what's in it for Mike's to do this for anyone?

Yep, Mike will want his cut. But you're still talking about a huge savings on those bullets. You can throw out that coupon or you can "buy" those 1000 bullets for 80% off.
