I received my G21 in the mail today and I couldn't be happier! I've been wanting something in a .45 and after doing a little research and finding a sweet deal I got this! (Thank you Brenden and Noah from Northern Troutfitters!)
My hands are big, not huge and the only thing that I'll change for now is the slide release as the factory one is a joke.

I like the weight and the girth (yes, I said Girth) and I can't wait to go shoot the hell out of it this Sunday.

Here are a few photos just so you can see how it fits and sorry for bad quality, it's late and I don't feel like playing with the camera right now.

Nice choice. The G21 has been on my "want list" for some time now.
Just wondering why you think the factory slide release/stop is a joke?

It's just ridiculously small and it hurts my thumb, haha. Maybe it's just due to the fact that it is brand new so it's super tight but patience is not one of my virtues so I ordered an extended release to replace it now.

Range report coming up on Sunday.

Quite a handfull eh? Lots of folks talk about just how big the 20/21 are but you don't really fully get it till you try wrapping your fingers around one.... My 20c is a hoot to shoot... I hope you like your 21!

Oh I know I will, thanks! It is a sizeable gun and I would not reccommend (sp?) it to someone with small hands but it just feels so right to me. I compared it to my friend's G22 and mine looked like a total bully compared to his, haha.

Yes, yes, I know. I almost bought an Iver Johnson 1911 but I really wanted a Glock....for now.....waiting for the wife to get over it, lol.

M1A is a work in progress and I love it.

LOL and a half on the tupperware photo! I'm the broad in the purple sweater.

ooooh really picked the glock over the 1911? Hmm I take back the joking part about the tupper ware party. ditch the zero (glock) and get with the hero (1911) :ar15:  :p

Lol, I'm not really into arguing which gun is better, etc. I love the 1911, have my eye on a few as we speak but I also love the Glock. You have to have some diversity in life otherwise things get pretty dull, no?

So enough with the Tupperware comments as they got old after the second post and I'll keep you all updated on my future purchases. (Probably another GLOCK!)
Haha

I replaced the factory slide release/stop on my G17 for an extended version because I thought it was "small". I haven't had any issues with the extended but my son sometimes trips it with his thumb.....dropping the slide on an empty mag. Took me a while to figure it out:redface:
I've found racking the slide using the "sling shot" method works better (for me) and may swap back the factory one.
