Got my Glock... but front sight is crooked...

How do I fix a crooked front sight? It's a steel Trijicon Night Sight, and when looking at it from the top rear view of the slide, the sight is turned very slightly counterclockwise.

It's not wayyy off, but enough to bug me (I noticed it the first time aiming it).

I assume I need a special tool lol

I'm still psyched though, got it all spiffed up with a Hogue Handall lol Damn it grips so good with that thing on.

Just beat it with a 2x4, it can take it.

I wouldn't do it. The sight is filled with Tritium. A low level radioactive substance. If you break it and it leaks out, you may suffer from erectile dysfunction or worse!

Kidding aside, if you just got it, the RETURN it for one that is not crooked!

Only thing is, I would have to pay $15 to ship it back as I did not buy it in person from a store. So does this mean the sight itself is crooked, or is it just a simple adjustment?

Geez, I said "turn it" not "crush it." They're not that fragile anyway.

The front sight is screwed into a nut.

I am afraid that will scratch the slide. can I not just get a 3/16" nut driver, loosen the nut and realign the sight?

Edit: Just looked it up, Stevo you were right, lol it says for any fine adjustment after tightening the nut to grip the front sight with non marring plier and turn it.
