Got my HK45 - Lots of pics - Range Report inside!

$1130 for HK quality is pretty good, and $90 is pretty standard for their mags. Paid more than double that for my Mark 23.

Oh yes, I am definitely happy with the price of the pistol itself. The mags are well built no-doubt, but $90 for the mags does seem a little high to me.

Funny you should say that.

When I first got my Mark 23 I loaded 5 snap-caps into a mag and slapped it into the gun, then I heard a strange sound and looked down at a handful of magazine parts, snap-caps and a spring. One of the little plastic clips that holds the baseplate into the mag had snapped clean off and rendered the magazine completely useless. Luckily for me I bought it from a great store, so they took the magazine back and had it replaced under warranty in less than 2 weeks; needless to say I'm still a little timid and treat my HK mags like they're made of glass.

Nice gun :)

NOT a fan of the "new" grip texture...looks a lot less grippy then the older style.

PS. Looks like your camera has quite a few dead pixels.

Are the mags polymer or metal for the Full Size? Haven't received mine yet, my USP has polymer magazines.

Nevermind, just checked your pics again. Look like metal mags, that's a definite plus!

I have one. And I'd trade it for a DE coloured frame in a pinch.

Having said that. Only shot it once since I'm a HK whore and own way too many to just pick one. Haha

Congrats on your gun. It's definitely a fun 45.

I as we'll shoot mostly Norinco and have yet so see a fault in them.
