Got my HP9-1 but....

Got my HP9-1 today in the mail.

Only thing Im wondering about is it says 12 ga 2/3". Now Calum has the exact same gun but he can shoot 3" shells. So I am curious as why mine cant but Calum's can?

The Norcino website even says its chambered for 3" shells......

the chamber on the barrel might be differant my remington 870 has one barrel that can shoot 3 1/2 inch shells but the gun can only shoot 3 inch

yes Alder finaly has a gun now
 
Well, if what you wrote is correct, you can only shoot shells that are 2/3rd of an inch long. :)

If it's a Norinco barrel - I'm 99% sure you can shoot 3". I think mine is ONLY labelled 3".

2 3/4" in inferred.

And yes I have been shooting 3" shells in it just fine.
I hope John at Marstar can give you answers, or at least send you a replacement barrel if this one is not able to use 3" shells for some reason.

Sorry for the dig its just seems to be a running joke thats not funny any more, i work in sales myself and i know what happens when peopel dont get to you, lose your email take a week to ship or just forget to get back to you.
it must be the gun biz or somthing, no one ever seems to have enought staff to deal with all there customers...

You find me the qualified staff we will hire, we have some expansion plans but cannot find qualified people....
For several months we have been "shopping", several weeks ago we even mentioned it onCGN, we are still looking....
We are not talking minimum wage positions here, Marstar is one of the highest paying companies in our area....
But the people we need are few and far between.
