yes, the two zip tabs are pretty strong and have the lockable ring on each side.

I believe yours should be at the same quality level with mine. The secret is that a tin of "MINWAX Paste Finishing Wax ($9.xx at Home Depot) + a little work will do the trick.

Sorry, I didn't say it clearly. The bag isn't from Canammo. I bought it from a local shop. It's called "Condor pistol bag". And I made some modification, adding some additional Velcro on it.
