Title says it all, hopefully will be shooting this weekend. My Glock 22 can now shoot .22, 9mm and obviously 40s&w. Woohoo!

The way that's labeled is confusing.

All of the conversion barrels I have say I.E. .357 sig Conv. That way, there is no confusion. No one should care what the gun is capable of shooting, just what it can shoot with given current setup.

Got mine yesterday, .40 to 9mm also! Mine is in the black oxide so it matches the original barrel.

I was going to get a .357 Sig barrel but none of the local dealers carry the factory ammo here. Only in Kanada!

40/357 requires absolutely nothing for swap (except barrel).

The 9mm conversion is not reliable, but still fun. You will get some failures to eject on occasion; it can be made more reliable by swapping the ejector with a 9mm one (but then you need to swap that back to the .40/357 one when you go back to .40/357).

Either way, enjoy!!

Thanks for the info, so no new mags are required? I might look into that - what are the cost differences between .40 vs .357 assuming a box of .40 is around $15?

That is funny as both my G23 and G27 have Bar-Sto barrels and fire 9mms reliably; I did have to use 9mm magazines to achieve this reliability. Regards, Richard:D

Well I did buy 9mm mags for it so I'll see how it goes this weekend.

That G27 looks strange, almost like it's missing 20mm somewhere. It'll come to me...;)

An odd question, but is there a G20 9mm conversion barrel available? I assume you would have to change springs and such, but fundamentally if you can go from 40 to 9, 10 to 9 shouldn't be that much of a longshot.

Mine ran fine as long as it was warm enough outside. It only gave me stovepipes when it was colder as I guess Win 231 doesn't like the cold and it was a light load. In the afternoon (10-15 deg. warmer), the gun ran fine with the conversion barrel.

Don't do it.

Mtallman: The so called 10mm G21 conversion to 9mm will not work. The 10mm breachface is not the same, or even close. Plus the extractor will go past the 9mm case.
Not to mention that you could get primer perforation since the 10mm cartridge uses a large pistol primer, while the 9 uses a small.
