My M305 mounted in a Sage EBR was doubling, tripling, and failing to ####. I sent it in to Tactical Ordnance for repair. Casey Bouward examined the rifle and determined that the hammer spring shroud was worn and replaced same. It seems that it was hanging up the disconnector. The rifle now passes the hammer following test which it did not do prior to the repair. The rifle now does not double and it cocks every time after cycling. Very pleased with Tactical Ordnance as my Sage was repaired promptly and returned promptly. Casey's prices are also very reasonable. So if you are having issues with your Norc do not hesitate to look up TacOrd.

That's good info...thanks for sharing. How many rounds through your rifle to cause the wear on the hammer spring shroud?
It malfunctioned right out of the box and just got worse and worse. Casey said that the shroud was probably bad from the get go.

pretty common out of the box issue on the 2010 to current trigger groups.
when I was working on these rifles for folks I often swapped that part out for an M1garand unit (same as m14/m1a/m305)
some of the more recent trigger plunger tubes don't mate well with the sear/disconnect, making a trigger job impossible without replacing the tube.
less than handful of guys in this country would know to catch that lil glitch I'm sure ;)
