Well, I ordered my DMS from Frontier on Thursday night and she arrived today. This is how she looks when you take the top cover off. It came covered in some kind of crushed velvet cover which will probably stay to keep it dust free.

First impression. It's big, this is my first 1-4 optic so I was not really sure what to expect. still waiting for my ADM mount so will we see how she fits.

Take off the caps and adjustments can be made by hand. There is also a extra battery stored under the elevation cap.

Magnification was a little stiff to adjust and may loosen over time but the agressive knurling helps to get a grip.

So far I like it, Clarity is nice not Trijicon nice but more than I expected.
* Magnification is 1-4 in 1/2 increments
* Overall finish and workmanship is nice
* It has eleven brightness settings all of which emit a signature from the opposite end.
* The Reticle is clear and unclutterd and is black and visible should your battery fail

For a total price of $346.45 It's a nice optic but will unable to give a better review until mounted and tested.

Thanks for the input ... please update this is very promising optic for cost and availability in Canada.

Does it have teal lettering on the right side? this is the DMSII model correct?

The scope is a great deal for the cost, the only knock on it that I have is that the adjustments are very mushy. The good news is that it holds zero very nicely. I got mine a little while ago from P&D, it was around $300.

Here it is mounted on my ArmaNorc using the Armalite mount - a little low but still very useable

Auctually mine has white lettering on the side and says DMS-1.
By DMSII, do you mean Gen II having the illumination knob on the side like mine? Or production after they were bought by Bushnell which is most likely like mine?

I'm hoping to get my mount (1-2 weeks) soon so if anyone wants to swing by POCO when I go up, you are more than welcome.

We now have these back in stock...$299. They say DMS I on the scope. Phil.

I have one mounted on a 10/22. on 1x you can see the tip of the fore-end! That is a field of view! It works well for what I want it to do. Fairly clear, when illuminated it's nice and bright. For $300 odd bucks, it does what I want it to do.

Ok, My ADM Recon Mount arrived today and I'm hoping to sight in at POCO tommorow. If I can then I'll be going to the Tac Rifle Match at Thompson on Sunday.

I have the extended eye relief ADM Scout mount and it works great with mine. Allways returns to zero everytime I take it off and put it back.
