Got my new Dillon 1050 yesterday

Ya right. Joey could beat me while he was sleeping.

Funny thing about this new machine .. Try as I might the .40 brass just won't fit in that shell plate ..

Called Dillon this morning and they are sending me out a .40 conversion kit, dies and a spare parts kit for free. Made me chuckle when the rep said "well I'd like to say that this was the first time it ever happened, but ..."

WOW. Very strange for Dillon. I have always had awesome service and support from them. Either way I am willing to bet they will make it right and you will be very happy with the setup!

I once got a 45 colt in a 40 box... Call them up and send them the pics.. they will fix it or your dealer should..

They did. Sent out new parts for 40 yesterday. Plus some extra spares

What they sent was .40 dies, .40 conversion kit, plus a spare parts kit, the set up DVD (which came in rather handy actually) and a couple odds and sods.

Was pretty good service from them in general.

Unfortunately no extra tool head, or quick change kit
