Got my PAL!! But...

Ok.thats what i needed to know. I wasnt sure if it was like buying a rifle. Flash the card and walk out the store..So i need his pal number ect so i can eventually transfer to my name .
No , he needs your RPAL # to transfer to your name. Your buying right ? You can give him the money but he can't transfer anything to you until you have a RPAL . Until then the gun stays with him , in his name.

Yup he has to call and then you gotta call. Exchange info with CFC in between, then wait.

I did pass both... the issue is that I am seeing a psychiatrist. Started seeing the shrink in 2011 because I was drinking too much. Haven't had a drink in 4 years. I still see the shrink though, for maintenance. Not taking any meds. I guess they don't want alcoholics owing guns?

Wow this totally sucks. I guess I'll give them a call. Are they really going to reconsider? Anyone every appeal a decision?

Your telling us some very personal information and asking us for some very legal questions.
Neither of which is our business nor area of expertise, save for one or two ''actual'' lawyers who are also enthusiast.

I guess most purchases will be on line if possible. Im a i want it now kinda buyer.

No such thing as want it now unless you go on the corner of a sketchy neighborhood ( that you dont even need to show your RPAL, Wave cash ). If you want it ASAP redflags are going to pop up and nobody would want to deal with you ( Sound up to no good )

Restricted transfers take min 2 days. to Max 2 weeks. You even got a membership to a shooting club? If you don't that wont allow the transfer to go thru.

They really need to start putting how to do a transfer on the RPAL course.
