Got my PAL in the mail yesterday !

Hello from Metro Vancouver !

I have just got my PAL for both non restricted and restricted. I have done a bit of shooting years ago at the old Barnet Rifle Range but nothing since then.

My Dad is going to transfer a Remington Nylon 66 to me.


This summer I am going to Osoyoos and would be interested in learning about any areas there I could take the .22 and do some shooting in a safe location. If anyone from that area knows of a spot feel free to PM me or post here.

you *just* missed a nice canadiantire stackon gun safe sale. they are on every so often. I picked up a nice 14 gun cabinet for $150

Welcome and you truly did miss a good deal as updatelee said 40% off all safes me and my brother bought a 14 gun safe along with a pistol safe. Hope you enjoy your stay

FYI:

I ended up buying an Amsec 5517W safe down in Bellingham. 11 gun safe, 20min fire safety, attractive looking safe. price = $299 lots of selection at Joe's Sporting goods across from Bellis Fair. Wife had a great time dropping $$ at the mall picked up some hearing protection there as well. Plus I'm getting an old Beretta given to me also. I'll post up a few pictures of it all when I get it set up.

Apparently not very often, once a year the most but some guys here thinks it has been 1.5 years since the last.
