Got my RPAL and got my M&P...

Just wanted to post this... I have shot revolvers about 20 years ago with my FAC that expired in 1999 and I've been saying for years that I wanted a pistol. so, I sent in my application for my RPAL on Feb 22 by regular mail, was approved on March 28. Got my licence on April 3. I went out right away and bought a M&P 9 and picked it up today. I shot it at the range as well. As I was shooting at the range, I was already thinking about my next purchase. Just waiting for my LTATT.

Right on, i got mine about month ago and love it. I ended up putting the APEX CAEK kit in mine because the range and carry kit i got came with a 10# trigger but it made me fall in love all over again.

Now if only i could find a way to shoot my nine for what it costs me to shoot my 22

Hey blsbezerker, thats great to have ownership that quick, I'm still narrowing my search but I'm thinking a CZ 75B will be my choice very soon. I have a quick question for you. I always thought you needed the LTATT to buy, well maybe not nessessary to buy, but to transport to the range? Did you get any issues buying a gun before your LTATT? I am hoping to join up a range this month, and I was under the impression of this so I was just going to wait for my LTATT from the range before I even purchased(very hard to wait though... and like you looking forward next purchase even before I get my first lol)

In Ontario you have to have a restricted registered to you before the CFO will proceed with a LTATT application.

Good man! After a 15+ year hiatus, I also recently upgraded to my RPAL. One of the pistols I grabbed was also an M&P9 and I love it. Keep our numbers growing!
