Got My SKS...And I got a GREAT DEAL!!!

Have to thank a CGN member here pesonally for the deal I got on my SKS. We came to a great trade, paintball equipment for an SKS. But what an SKS he traded me.

Pics are below It's in a Tapco stock, has three different reciever covers, 4 different scopes, all cheap but cool nonetheless. Its currently sporting an NCStar 3-9X40 with an illuminated reticle.

Got a Tapco plastic mag, a flashlight and laser Tacticool setup and assorted other goodies. The trade also included a Butler Creek synthetic stock that I may keep and put on a second SKS for the wife. She will let me know after she fires off a few rounds.

Next up for the rifle will be the B.C. Tactical sight mount that I am getting next week. YAY ME!!!. My first semi auto rifle and I couldn't be happier.

Thank you stevey3737! This has been without a doubt the best deal I have ever been a part of on CGN. BTW, he is also selling a Swedish Mauser. Trust me, he is a great guy to deal with and I am sure if you bought it, you would be extremely happy.

And yes, I would consider a flashlight/laser combo Tacticool. Not something I would have got myself, but it did come with the SKS. Some guys like wood, some like plastic. Why get all bent out of shape either way. Shoot, enjoy, repeat!

I agree it does need a muzzle break. But without a front sight what are my options for getting one?

I don't run a muzzle brake myself. I'm still educating myself on which style is most effective. In any event I will use a threaded option,no set screws. The possibility for an epic fail @ the muzzle isn't something I want to experience Your rifle will group nicely w/optics and a break Imo.
