Got myself a 1944 SVT-40!

These rifles are super fun. Yours has an excellent bore. Mine has some pitting, but nothing too crazy. I have a 1942 Tula rebuild, but lucky enough to have AVT stock as well as receiver rail grooves. I have the 12 port muzzle brake. It's an attention getter at the range. Enjoy!!
 
If you get the chance, we would love to see a group photo! And would really enjoy seeing your 1939 dated piece.
I only have one SVT, it is a 1941 SA marked, non refurb. Nothing fancy but lots of history. Thanks for teh great pics!
 
Very nice indeed. Happy to help enable a milsurp purchase. Almost as much fun, almost, as buying it for myself. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a '45.:D

One of my all time milsurps to shoot, dam fun ! My son and I both have one, they are a hoot and I get to share my ammo with my Mosins. Congrats on your purchase !
