Was on the phone with Clay at Prophet and just struck a deal for this beautifull Swiss Sig 30-06, cosmetik never been one of my priority before but i guess the fact that it is Swiss Arm product did influence somewhat my decision... JP.

That's a Lux model. Sad they don't make them anymore. That's my go to rifle since 6 - 7 years (in 9.3X62), I got myself a synthetic stock for bad weather days. For scope bases, you will need to use to use the same bases as the BLR.

You might try a VX-7 if you can find one. The combo of a Swiss 970 and a VX-7 gives incredible results. The accuracy will amaze you.

I like that a lot, nice buy. I can't buy nice guns because I'd never take them out and actually use them in the field. Not a fan of plastic but I don't feel as bad if they get scratched up. That's not really true, scuffed the stock on my T3 this last deer season and it still pisses me off everytime I see it. OCD is tough lol.
