True. And that's one of the things I like about the size/length on my Marlin 1895GS. Fits just nicely mounted on the handle bar rack of my Big Bear.

Before buying a scope, and since they are so good and clear, i might try one of my Hilux 1X4X24 CMR or one of those 1.25X8X32 Bushnell 6500 on my Swiss 06, maybe the solution lay there... JP.

Got 4 boxes of 30-06 Barnes Vortex TSX..... 2 of 168 gr and.... 2 of 180 gr, those always shoot good and have great knockdown power... JP.
