LOL! the story will amaze you. but long and short worked the bird from 6:00am to 7:30am he would not budge, so I picked up I know the bush and new exactly the place he was located. I snuck around him about 1/2 walk throught water thorns you name it, Just as the bird was comming out after I set up and called I seen my cousin walking down the field oh no the bird spotted him and gobbled off.
I let him alone for 1 1/2 hrs we went for a coffee and bike ride came back AT 11:10AM gave hime a call and 10 min Later he ran into a 2 1/2 oz 10g handload, #4s. at 20 yards game over.

Big Red I am not sure but most likely, I brought him in from along way the bird I original set for found a lady and screwed off on me I picked this bird out from the ground later in the Am. But yes flooded swamp is a good bet heard many birds above water there were so many ? which one to pick

Alberta Bighorn yes its in borax right now going to do the fan tail, beard shot shell thing on a oak board.
Its a real nice fan.
