Got revolvers?

I own both revolvers and pistols. My first handgun was a 686 that remains one of my favourites to this day. There's also a S&W 625 in .45 ACP which is very accurate and quick to reload with moon clips with no lost brass! I'll also need to mention the 617 which is accurate and fun to shoot as well....I like pistols as well but revolvers have their place. What do I prefer? Both!! ;) :D

Hmmmmmmmmm revolvers :) Yaaaaaaaaah!

Thanks!
I think you are looking at the 3" 625 chambered in .45 ACP
But yes! The 3" 686 is a real peach of a revolver...... Colts eh???? :p   :)

So, I'll never knock a guy for owning any gun they want, and if a revolver is what you want, have at it. But me, I can never see owning any revolver, to me, these guns seem boring and antiquated compared to a good pistol.

Am I a sucker for modern day guns, or do you agree?

PS I know this thread will attract many opinions, but I'm bored right now and this thought just popped into my head.
:)

you wait till you've had about 40 years of hard work, and you STILL have to police your brass- you will want that revolver then-even using a broom and dustpan you still have to BEND OVER

I've got both, and I like both. But when I'm out at the range with snow on the ground I prefer to not dig through that cold white stuff to find my brass.

+1.

I have Sig220 Elite and 2 GP100's. I prefer the GP 100s, but love them both. I would choose the revolver over the pistol if I had to choose one for fun.

No mags to keep track of and load. No chasing spent shells. The option to shoot different loads....I'd choose my 5" 686 unfluted over my Browing HP (if I had to)
I believe in KISS.....

Revolvers seem to be chambered in the more "fun" calibers too, (depending on your definition of "fun" I suppose)

Don't see too many automatics in .454 Casull or .500 S&W. :p
