So I went to my first IDPA night and started on my holster certification, I must say it was a blast! Way more fun then just shooting paper in a stall lol.. I thought myself to be comfortable habdling a pistol but I was surprised how much technique and skill is reqiured, I have a ways to go. Also, I'm using my Glock 22 that has all the extended mods and a trigger job but am still rocking the stock sights Any suggestions for sights for this type of shooting? Leaning towards Dawson sights right now.

I second Tru glow. If you can find the Meprolight one that has the combo fiber optic and tritium front sights, it would do very well also. I also highly recommend getting stock black rears. Makes target acquisition so much easier looking for one glowing dot than lining up 3 especially if your eyes suck as bad as mine!

Asking for sights is like asking what shoea to wear.
Try different ones and choose the one that works for you.
The advice above is common knowledge and it's good for most people but it mighr not be good for you.
For instance, black rear does not work for me.
Have fun with idpa it is a great game. I shoot both idpa and ipsc.
Cheers
