Got the Taurus Judge (Pic Heavy)

I got my Judge today!

Overall I'm impressed. It's a big damn revolver. Trigger pull seems decent. The only things I don't like: The grip is really small for a revolver with a 6.5 inch barrel. I had the same problem with my 17hmr tracker...if anyone has any grip ideas let me know. The only other issue is that there seems to be some finish irregularities. You can't tell from the photos but the right side of the frame has what looks like a sticker mark, but it won't come off...I going to have to go at it with a plastic brush later...there is also a small iregularity on the underside of the trigger guard that is hard to describe. Both issues are minor though and won't detract from the enjoyment of it. Range review this weekend!!

The Judge is a big handgun - beside my Norc 1911 Police.

They feel good but they are a little small. Does anyone know what frame size the judge is? Medium perhaps?

There are hogue grips on ebay. 73000 I believe is the model that fits the judge. I had these on my Tracker, much better feel. I'll be gettin some for my Judge when it get's here. Soon I hope.

1. Is it true stainless steel or painted to look it (you mentioned flaws in finish, I was thinking paint)?
2. Is the barrel smooth bore (or rifled)?

I'm hearing it takes 2.5" from some people and 3" shells from others. Is the barrel rifled? Does it shoot slugs?

It takes 2.5inch shells and yes, the barrel is rifled. I takes 45 colt ammo as well. The finish is brushed stainless steel it's not painted. Here's what I got waiting for her....
