I'm getting different info from various people, and from various different firearms, so I don't have a load I consider correct yet, but the average load seems to be a duplex load.
10gr black powder in a tea bag above the primer, followed by a 550gr-620gr load rolled in silk or similar material cylinder to take up volume.
550gr charge with 1550gr 20mm vulcan inert training projectile apparently net approx. 2700fps, while a 620gr charge with the same projectile will hit 3000+fps. Should be getting up towards the 30,000 ft-lb - 35,000 ft-lb range...

The problem is getting the buggers to line up in a row. Never work with wild animals folks... lol.
Kevin,
Why SS for the cases? obviously it's what the seller is offering, but was there any insight givin on selecting SS over brass?
What life would you anticipate out of the steel cases? 2-3 loads?

My two mags are a little different than yours, the difference being the side rounds windos. Mine look to be larger 1/2 with a clear film covering the holes. Both of the magazines feed lip have been hacked off, missing one follower , one has a cross pin welded between the shoulder and the one with the follower the spring is broken off and is missing. I do have the carrying box for them with leather sling . I have one complete round brass with steel projectile and one empty case ( copper) un fired . The smaller mag is for a20x110 hispano AA cannon. 8 round welded follower and locking lug removed.
