What stats? my understanding is nowadays people get laid off like they do here and not killed by firing squad when they screwed up on the job
Where did you get yours? Been to China lately? I don't want to get into an argument but I know for a fact that China today is not like that so whatever you have to say is again without merit

because china has capital punishment. and because china's population is something like 20% of the world's population.
again this does not help in any way perpetuate the "guy who made gun screwed up he'll probably be executed" as even remotely being true because our toys are not made with slave f***ing labour, and these stats don't represent people getting executed because they screw up on their jobs!!
stop perpetuating stereotypes that are untrue is all I'm asking. By posting this information as proof to my earlier post is doing just that.
what this is is akin to the anti's fulfilling their own agenda saying oh look crimes are going down because we have the gun registry. If you want to laugh at china for the bad things it has going for it (which it does have a lot of bad things going for it) at least don't make things up, that's just being unfair...

At least they're honest about it and don't lock people up for non-crimes like a certain military empire does. They also execute bankers who commit fraud in China, instead of giving them billion dollar, tax payer funded bailouts.
The Soviet Gulag couldn't hold a candle to this.
Furthermore, the only reason Chinese goods are so cheap is because the Chinese accept US dollars to settle international transactions - and nations with a lot of US dollars (like Canada) can buy things from them for cheap.
If that stops (which it is my assertion it will - soon), Chinese manufactured consumer goods like the T97 (along with almost everything you and I take for granted) are going to get much, MUCH more expensive.
With the US debt ceiling permanently suspended, and some pretty strong indicators that the US's credit rating will be downgraded (and they WILL eventually default on their debt, one way or the other) - I think it's entirely conceivable T97's will be priced as high as Tavor's at some point.
LOL at the free market ever buying Chinese quality at inflated prices. It's cheap cuz its junk for the most part. There would maybe be ONE of these rifles sold in all of Canada if they cost $2500.
China also executes people for minor drug offences which we tend to ignore here in NA. And the population thing.....India has a billion + people too and executed 1 person in 2012.

Took a look at mine. The barrel looks good. I don't see any issues. By the way having taken this rifle apart a few times now I like the internal design of it. It still has that combloc feel to it but it's simple and fairly clever. Also the fit/finish on mine isn't the Chinese crud stereotype. I'm happy with mine. Now if only they could have put as much effort into the ergos!!
