How many here have run across this when searching for parts? I recently posted looking for a bolt for a BRNO #1 and received some pm's with offers. I ended up getting one brand new for $75 so no worries about it, I had offers of used for $50 - $75 which IMO were fair but I had one that wanted  $190 for a used bolt. That's almost what I paid for the whole rifle! What do you think?

Finding replacement bolts can be a real challenge.
Often manufacturers will not sell a bolt because of liability issues.
You were fortunate to have a choice, and did very well to find a brand new bolt for $75. If the new bolt is for a current production Brno, rather than a Model 1, I think it should work. There are minor differences. The safety is different, and I don't think new production has the detent ball in the root of the bolt handle.
Keep in mind that fitting may be necessary. The bolt may not just drop right in, with correct function and headspace.

If you don't think the price is reasonable, don't buy it! It behooves the buyer to do his homework. A thing is worth what somebody is willing to pay.

Any transaction in which the goods are not falsely represented and both parties agree to the price does not constitute being "taken for a ride".

Even though I've only been here a short time I have seen how members do go out of their way to help. As far as buyer beware, I am, I had several offers and ended up purchasing a new 1950's Model 1 issue bolt so I did do my home work.:D
