Maybe you could ask them why they think creating new laws that only hurt law abiding citizens, will make the criminal a model citizen. They are called criminal because they don't obey current laws. Good luck, you will need it.

Thank you John! I'm glad that I wasn't asked. I have a tendency to lose my composure in the midst of discussions on topics about which I am passionate. Before you know it I would be dropping F-bombs and referring to Blair as a $#@& head and then likely tell the whole #&$@ing panel what they can do with their !&#@ bill C-71. Which would inevitably lead to *&$#@ or ?&#$*@!! See what I mean?.......F@#$&!
 
Please please please talk about their definition of an "assault rifle". Their definition includes all semi automatic rifles.

I’m sure the liberals already fully plan on banning handguns and semiautomatic rifles, but it will be a risky move for them, so I’m guessing they will wait until after the next election (I’m sure they assume they’ll win), and implement the ban early in their mandate. Let’s all hope the conservatives win the next election.
 
The last one I went to in Toronto... was a one sided discussion... they didn’t want to hear our side... hope this time it’s better
