GP100 Hammer Pivot Pin won't budge!!

I'm trying to take apart my new GP100 and the hammer pivot pin will not budge! The main spring is out. I've tried forcing it on the one side with a punch and nothing. Tried a flathead screwdriver underneath the little tab and gave it some force... nothing! I almost bent the bloody tab. What should I do?

Try pulling the trigger guard assembly away from the frame a bit, then it should come out.

Appreciate the reply. I just gave that a try but it still won't budge

Edit: Just got it. Took a wooden dowel and a hammer to it. Gave that sucker a big whack!

Always remember never never force things just get a bigger hammer.
