GP100 Speedloaders

I have a Ruger GP100 357mag revolver. It came from the factory with Hogue grips. Wonderful piece and I love shooting it. I have tried a couple of speedloaders ( S&W as well as SKS ) to see if they work but no go. One the spacing didn't match the cylinder and the other couldn't get by the grip.

Does anyone have a suggestion or know of a speed loader that would work? Please let me know.

If the spacing is off, you have the wrong speed loader(s).

The grip clearance can only be solved with different grips, or modifying the existing by removing material. Those Hogue grips are fat.

Look into "speed strips" to solve both issues, although not as fast, you can carry more.

My GP has the original rubber/wood insert type of grip. I could be wrong but you should be able to use any speedloader designed for S&W L frames. The GP100 and the L-frames have similar cylinder/chamber dimensions.

I use the Safariland Comp3 although the Comp2 should work easier since they are a little smaller and could clear the grip better.

I also use the Safariland Comp 3s. I have to remove some of the material on the Hogue Grips,as sometimes, the speedloader drags excessively against the Hogue.
