GP11 primers

Hello, I am thinking about buying a case of GP11 7.5x55 ammo and saving the brass to reload. Does anybody know if the berdan primers from Canada ammo fit? They are made by Dominion arms large rifle berdan primers, add says .217 diameter.

Not easily, gp11 7.5x55 is. 215" so getting the primers to seat is a pain, but can be done. The other problem is the primers Canada ammo is selling are for 7.62x39mm so they are to short and under powdered.

If you really want to try, Henry from budget shooter has 7.62x51 berdan primers which are still 0.217" but are longer and have more power.

That appears to be a common affliction these days among the CGN community,I've been recently bitten by the bug too.Gathering up some feed for them myself right now.
