I just installed my third Grago buttplate tedious work at best to get a good fit and finish. I had three short stock two with a low comb. The 680 under barrel with high comb trap stock got the adjustable length of pull unit the other two Rem 11-87 12 gauge sporting and a Rem 1100 410 sporting had the factory stocks tilted up a hair and were cut a bit short. I used the adjustable butt plate with a 1 inch pad on the 11-87 and a .0600 pad on the 1100. I gained a 1/2 comb hieght and more right hand castoff. The extra weight on the buttstock balanced the three gun nicely with the long barrels. They shoulder and point where I want. Perfect fit solution for three molested buttstocks. I would not cut a good stock for these units but for these bubba stocks this was a good solution . Any thoughts pro or con ?
