Grain of bullet and make?

I am just wondering what grain of bullet and make of bullet that preforms best for the 300 wsm? I just bought a x-bolt. I picked up a couple of box and plan to try them out in the next couple of days.

To hear some tell it, yer private parts will fall off if you don't pay at least $6 per loaded round, or $2 per projectile buying for reloading.

What can you get, reliably, locally? How good a shot are you? Do you shoot often, or just to get warmed up for hunting season?

How much do you feel like beating yourself up on a day at the range?

Try the stuff you can get, and see what shoots well for you. Can't make a critter any deader than dead once, but you won't do that, if you don't hit it, right?

Reloading? Winchester bulk 180's for water jugs at the range. TTSX's for the hunt of a lifetime. Depends on what you wanna spend, and what you want to accomplish.
