I have been fooling around with differernt ammunition and handloads for my Grand Power K100, thought I would post my results so far. First of all, I love this pistol. It is well designed and the controls are well laid out. I like the feature that drops the slide if you slap the Mag. in briskly. I really like the fibre optic front sight. If I could change anything, I would like a lighter single action trigger. I can't shoot it as well as my Browning Medalist, with its trigger adjusted extremely light. The magazine spring is very heavy, it takes a lot of pressure to load the last two rounds. The pivot pin on the rear sight has been working its way out, but I am going to try a drop of Loctite on that. The Ammo. it seems to like the best so far, is the Remington UMC Leadless 115 Gr. The group pictured here is a handload, 115Gr. Remington jacketed spherical flat nosed bullet over 4.4 Gr. of Titegroup shot from rest @25 Yds. I got a better group than this with the Rem. factory ammo. I expect the two flyers are my fault, getting used to the heavier trigger. However, I have found that my old powder measure is throwing light loads every once in a while. Sometimes I can notice it by the powder level in the case, and I keep weighing about ever 5th load, but I might have missed some. It doesn't seem to like the tapered nose 115Gr. lead bullets I have, but I am going to go back to trying lighter loads with them now that I know that the powder measure is the problem with the occasional failure to cycle. Look forward to your comments, particularly other GPK100 shooters.

The distance was 25Yds. and I bought the bullets marked "Remington metallic components 9mm caliber 115 FNEB Dia. .355 100 bullets" for $12.95 at the Shooter's Den in Sudbury, same place I bought the lead bullets.
