Grand Power K100

Hey Guys.... I love my GP K100....all issues I had with it ( it was the first import group) were dealt with quickly and with all the help I needed by K100. The new guns all have the upgraded extractors. The gun feels great to shoot the ergonomics are great for large hands and the accuracy is also exceptional. Occasional magazine dropping when shooting quick is the only glitch I haven't worked out yet.

I cancelled my order... after 5 months, it's time to look elsewhere (I don't think it's anyone's fault, just bad timing with the election in the middle/etc).

I just shot mine for the first time tonight. I love the feel and accuracy is good, but overall it was only OK due to several failures to eject (leading to something like double-feeds) in about 200 rounds. I was shooting a mixture of 147gr and 115gr both semi-wadcutter and round-nose. A couple times the slide failed to go completely into battery after releasing the slide catch, too - which was a little weird.

I like the feel of this gun like no other, though. And the recoil is really light. Other than the issues mentioned above I had a great time shooting it.

As for the eject issues - is there somewhere I can go to see the difference in extractors you guys are referring to? Mine looks like a recurved strip of metal held in by a pin.

Hallo my friend.
We are very sorry for your problem with our K 100. Probably your problem is in the old model axtractor - its design was the plate spring and sensibility was too high on hardening quality. If hardening was soft,extractor was soft and don´t elastic after - effect.If hardening was strong problem was approximate same and extra receptive for break at high factor of ammunition.Wherefore we start to use a new model of extractor whitch use external spring made from spring wire.It works for 100%.

If you send to us your mail address we will send to you new extractor.
Of course for FREE.
Best Regards
Martin

Now that ^^^ is customer service. From Slovakia he logs on to our board to address customer concerns.
It's called smart marketing by a new player in the firearms world who's trying to make a name for himself ;)

MARTIN;
Since you choose to discuss our business here on CGN lets take time to make certain the facts are correct.
Your firm had IICs in place for 2005, you could not ship....
At the end of 2005 YOU requested the new IIC which we sent immediately....
John

SPLATTER;
What I was trying to say to Martin was the fact that we had several valid IICs in place, his firm had a valid export permit but were unable to supply in time to ship by the end of the permit....
So goes the import business....FRUSTRATING
Regards John

I gotta ask cause it's been bugging me for a long time.....
What is "Grand Power" suppose to mean? Is it like a cool thing in Slovak that doesn't translate smoothly to english?
It's just not a common phrase in english is all.......

I think the Browning High Power was originally called something like "Grand Power 35" wasn't it?

"Grand Puissance" or something like that......which I guess could have been translated to "Big Power" instead of high power......glad it wasn't.:)
