Got myself a nice Grand Power K100 MK12 during the (seemingly) annual change of distributor sale. Would really like to get a few more magazines/back straps/spare parts and I have been having been having a ##### of a time to locate these items. If anyone could point me in the direction of spare magazines/backstraps/parts I would be very grateful.

Who's the distributor now? I'd start with a phone call to Trigger Wholesale and see what they say.... good luck! They are great pistols.

I sent Trigger Wholesale an email as they do not appear to have a phone number listed. If I can not get factory mags I will use koesdibyo's post and modify some E-Lander cz75B magazines. It is kind of a shame, they are great pistols... I see brand new ones at dealers that only come with 1 magazine. Makes for a tough sell!

Sucks, but in my opinion its one of the better kept secrets as a pistol. I absolutely love mine!

I want to mill my slide for an optic, but as mentioned - the parts division on these are lacking, so if I eff up Im screwed :p

David Copping (Canuck223 here on CGN) who was the Canadian business rep, took over as the Canadian distributor a month or so ago. He's already brought in his first batch of spare parts and is expecting a shipment of mags in soon. This is the website he is setting up, although it doesn't have a shopping cart function setup yet h ttp://www.grandpowercanada.ca/index.html. Here's his price list h ttps://www.facebook.com/groups/205244532949832/files/. You should join this FB group as well, Dave posts a lot of updates on it and it's a great place for us GP folks to share our tips and trips. You can get your parts by emailing Dave here on CGN, or by FB messaging him. Here's a pic of my goody bag of parts I got off him a couple of weeks ago. I'm set for next season's fun with my X-Cal's :)

I really hope this pans out this time....they are great pistols, but the back up has been sketchy to say the least...

I was going to mill the slide on my K100, but ended up getting an adapter made that fit into the existing dovetail. It turns out that the K100 slide was too difficult to mill out because there is an "Autosafety" that would need to be milled around. Our X-Caliburs don't have this, so it would be an easier job. I found one company that makes an adapter for the Eliason sights - h ttp://redhilltactical.com/products/jpoint-mount-for-elliason-style-sight-cuts. The owner of that company (Robert King) is a big Grand Power fan and competes with an X-Calibur too :)

I hope this works out for everyone. The distribution/dealership has been a "Watch out for that revolving DOOR -Door-Door" problem. The pistols are good, but parts & service TWK

Thanks VanMan, you hit most of the high points.

Just for clarity, all Grand Power pistols are shipped with two mags from the factory. I'm hearing that some of the remaining stock from the old distributor may be shy a mag. My assumption is the second mag was used to fill requests for spares. All I can say is I hope your purchase price reflected the missing mag.

Baring misadventure, there are tons of spare mags coming with the order shortly.

As for modifying Grand Power slides for Production Optics, I have some comments.
1) I can't make any promises about the guns functioning with the added weight of the mount and scope. I like the idea, but you are your own guinea pigs my friends. :)
2) If you are planning on milling the slide, you may want to look at the Dynamic or X-Trim models as they don't have the firing pin safety to get in the way.
3) If your slide cuts need to get down into the firing pin channel behind where the firing pin spring sits, It may be wise to look at the X-Cal firing pin as it's flatter to accommodate the elevation screw.

I don't check in to CGN often, so PM's hear are often a waste. I won't violate board rules but if you check out the factory or the Grand Power Canada website, my contact information is available.

Sounds good! I will be sure to check your website for updates. I paid under 350 bucks delivered for my Mk12 and it came with 2 magazines, so no worries there... Sure beats the ~600 dollar price tag with only 1 mag "sale" that is going on right now...

Below cost is always nicer then full retail..... :)

Email sent to David through grandpowercanada.ca kinda an awkward sight but regardless crazy fast reply and am well on my way to stocking up on mags and parts I've been beating my head off the wall looking for

Very pleased so far

yep, I'm thinking mags and parts was a major obstacle holding Grand Power back this last couple of years. With David taking over that's no longer going to be an issue. Have seen a few really good shooters out here in the west started competing with X-Caliburs so 2016 should be a great year for Grand Power :)

Nice, David is a good guy and I'm glad he's taken on this role!

Hey Canuck223 have fun at SHOT,

Any other hints at what's coming in with that order other than magazines?

Sorry Vincent. We are clearing out our Grand Power stock and we will not be continuing with the brand. You should be able to get your local Gun Shop to help you.

Thank You for the message!

Thanks Vincent.

TWI didn't live up to our hopes for parts and service. I ended our relationship with them and set up our own import and distribution system. www.grandpowercanada.ca is the website. Once the e-commerce solution is set up you would be able to order and pay for parts on line. Until then, just fill out the contact form and I will follow up by e-mail.
