The GP mag is a CZ75 mag with the mag catch slot on the front of the mag, instead of the side corner. You can take a CZ mag, drill a small hole and then make it a square hole with a needle file.

I have lots of GP mags, so don't need to do that.

But I notice that the GP mags also have the usual slot in the usual place. Sure enough, they work perfectly in a CZ.

If you have both pistols, you now have a bigger supply of CZ mags, if you need them.

This does work, but I have had recent manufacture Mec-gar CZ mags jam up the trigger in my GP Mk12. The taper on the mag body is slightly different and can sometimes interfere with the trigger bar. No doubt there are many different CZ mag bodies, I have not had the same problem with Tanfoglio mags that fit the CZ 75 guns.
