A new line for early 2015, we've received our first run of the Grand Power pistols! We have a broad selection of their lineup in stock here at the shop and they've been a popular sight in the retail store since their arrival earlier this week. The Grand Power rotating barrel design has been adopted by the Slovakian armed forces, and was designed by a former weapons officer of the Slovakian Army, whose experiences with Soviet firearms in the 20th century provided a firsthand look at what he wanted to see in the evolution of small arms. Because this rotating barrel operation lends itself well to a high degree of accuracy, the K100 pistol line was developed from the outset with target shooters in mind, and a large number of these pistols are dedicated range guns suitable for competition use or great double duty variants equally capable on the range and in a holster. With years of testing and vetting by the national government of Slovakia under its belt, the K100 line has become increasingly popular overseas in America and in Russia, and Grand Power has expanded quickly in the last several years to keep up with demand.

Mags and holsters?

That's the 64,000 dollar question. I think I read in another thread that spare mags were an issue but were supposedly "on the way".

Holsters might be a bit tricky until more GP's get out in circulation. I know I was looking for a LH model for my Mk7 a few months ago and had no luck.

Yes, I certainly think the distributer is a little optimistic compared to the last guy in terms of pricing.

What we have here is a nice $450-$800 gun being offered at $650-$1000

Do you have one of the firearms to justify the price of being $450-800?
I think a lot of people are really butt-sore that they didn't purchase sooner and now have to to pay more if they want one.

I have a 9mm K100 mk7 and a .22 K22S

.....paid $399 for the K100 and $299 for the K22S...............both were great 'on sale" deals but i still think the current regular "not on sale" prices are overly optimistic,

The prices are high for these pistols. I have handled them and shot them. I believe there will be a lot of pistols sitting for a while on the shelf. We will wait to see what specials come next christmas when they need to start moving them.

No, a lot of people are thinking why buy the X-TRIM when for the same price they can get a Shadow!

Good luck to Grand Power.

Anyone complaining about the high price still doesn't realize that what Dlask did was a blowout, meaning zero profit, at-cost sell off which was to get rid of inventory.

You can't really bash a retailer for pricing these at MSRP levels when a few months ago another retailer liquidated them and may have potentially lost money.

If you don't like the prices, don't buy, but don't go bashing another retailer though.

I really dont want a dealer that take zero profit, i want my dealer to be there a long time and make great stuff available to us... In my book, it's a lot harder to get desirable items than paying a higher price... JP.
