Grand Power Stribog

Oh MAN!!!!!!!

Could this be competition for the APC9 (whenever the hell that gets an FRT)

I love my GP pistols and this could very well be a sweet PCC. Not too sure if I'm a fan for the UZI mags tho

Yep been followING thus for a few years now.
Good to see another mfg that does not beta test on the clients.
One think I do home is they do go with the colt 9mmsmg/ uzi mag system. Not some new design.

Pretty much a done deal for 2017 from what I hear.

Thats a pic from grandpowerCANADA????

I hope they sent one off for an FRT already

Wouldn't UZI mags be a bit of a pain for us Canucks to find tho??

So I've been following them on Facebook and asked how long their sample has been at the lab. This was their concerning response:

I know that many folks are under the impression that new models have to be sent to the RCMP lab prior to getting an FRT# issued. That's not the case. With enough quality pictures of the details of the firearm, as well as the specifications of the model and any related models, the RCMP may issue an FRT# without requiring a sample. Based on early conversations as well as our experience in getting two other new models an FRT#, we don't predict a problem with the SR9A2. However, it's always possible that the RCMP could require a sample. If that is the case, the current timeline is approx. 6 months for a determination.

Does anyone know of a case for a new design where this is actually true? Especially one where there is a full auto version as well? I had high hopes for this but now I don't know.

Care to translate for us members with regular sized thumbs?

The AR-15 9mm mags are based on the UZI magazine tube. (Different mag catch and a follower designed to hold open the AR-15 bolt catch.)
There are 10 round pistol mags approved for the LAR AR-15 9mm pistol.

One of some recent pics posted by Canuck223 on the Grand Power Canada FB group. Only details on the mag so far are that it's a "double feed SMG style mag". If it will take my LAR 9mm mags, that would be SWEET!!!

That looks to be an awfully big muzzle device for a 9mm. Might be nice to have an option for something smaller and lighter to make the gun handier.
