The longer barrel and sight radius should be a good thing. The weight reduction of the slide and barrel should keep the gun just as easy to point and cycle as smoothly as the K-100.

Still don't love the Eliason rear sight, but at least this time it's shoved back.

Still wish it had wider gas pedal style safeties.

I'd buy one.

I saw this on Grand Powers website a while ago. Definitely interested, especially if it gets re-branded by STI and is easily available/supported.

No because I hate the look of speed holes in a slide, but always kinda wanted a regular the grand power/GP6.

Not going to lie, the scallops don't really do it for me either. My guess is that with the rotary barrel lock up, the mass of the slide needs to be within a given range to keep cycling properly. To get the sight radius right, the slide needs to be close to the length of the barrel, but the mass needs to come off somewhere.

Personally, I prefer the appearance of my K100 which is currently for sale. With that said, I would buy one of these just to give it a try. I think it is unique enough to be an interesting piece in anyone's gun safe. I'm unsure whether I actually like the scallops or whether I find them revolting. I just can't decide! lol

Cheers!

Sometimes, you get your wish. Here's the picture of the new competition safety Grand Power are making. I'm thinking a set will be on my "must order" list.

Now with BlueLine acting as the Canadian distributor, I have to make some room in my safe.:D

One more. Is the trigger very far away from the grip? Cause I have a very small hand, I am worry about reaching for the trigger if u know what I mean.

Any input would be great.
Thx guys

How's the recoil on the k100? Cause I want one but I can't find a demo around Vancouver area.

Using the 147gr ammo around 130PF, the muzzle barely seems to rise.

I shot mine back to back with the CZ SP01 Shadow, expecting the steel framed gun to kick less. Instead it seemed snappier than the polymer framed gun.

While shooting, I'd had guys say the gun didn't seem to move. Then I saw a video of me shooting an 8 round steel stage. He wasn't kidding. The gun just doesn't seem to move.
