Grand Power?

Good morning:

The lettering on the K-100 is a nicely understated dull bronze colour. Very nicely done.

I imagine that either bluing or parkerizing the slide release pin would be an appealing idea for some. At most it's a simple DIY home project with a q-tip and some cold blue.

Yes, more dealers will be offering the K-100 pistol. It really is in the ~ $1,000.00 'high-tech nine' category only it doesn't cost around $1,000.00. ;)

Hope this helps,

- Peter

to your facelift of our gun :

all suggested change are possible but slide lock lever hiding.
concerning the flat sights : those are plastic and have "hasty" target picture so we use actual ones, in addition, our sights are adjustable unlike the plastic flat ones.
best regards
Yaroslav

Actually I like different parts from their entire pistol line; I just haven't seen a K100 package that puts them all into one.

This is it:
I like the low profile sight they use on some of their other pistols
I like the flat safety lever.
I modified the hammer a little. *New Part (could live without it)
I also hid the pin on the slide lock lever to make it one piece. *New Part (could live without it)
That's it.

I would order this pistol tomorrow!!

K100, is this possible?
:)

Either way I like the pistol the more I see it and I would like a new 9x19 handgun.

we are glad to know that those "unimpressed" form the minority and majority play with us :D
now seriously, we take all comments an suggestion whatever side they come from. K100 maybe looks a bit "frankenstein-ish" to you but there are many others who like that design. That is just a matter of personal opinion ( just like the beautiness of the women).
This design is unique and it is not a copy of any gun. The system is protected by US patent No. 6826997. If you look at K100 you can not mess it with anything on the "stock". Off course, we are able to make some modifications to meet the customer´s individual demands but some parts are "untouchable" e.g. slide catch lever.

I may be in the minority, but I'm not too impressed by the gun's design. Looks a little to me. Lose the white lettering and front slide serations and replace the hammer, slide release, and rounded rear sight with more traditional-looking pieces and you'd have a much cleaner-looking pistol in my opinion.

You're all a bunch of bastards.

You HAD to show me that there is a two tone version. Bastards, I say. For $650? 108mm barrel? I'm liking it. I just may have to get one...

Thanks for your compliments dude :)

The pistol is very accurate. Even with deliberately not using the sights and pouring on a full magazine, all rounds hit tightly in the kill zone. This is what I think would be useful since I do not have huge hands...

Hi, I just ordered a two tone.. damn, I cannot wait for it to get here.. :D

Does anyone know what holster will fit the K100?

Regards, Brent

Very interesting and robust piece of equipment. I don't think it looks Frankensteinish, just new and unique! I would like to here more about it. i.e. trigger pull weight (I read what Musky wrote above and would like to know more).

K100 can you tell us more about the sights, is there anyway to replace the rear with a more traditional looking rear like a Heinie or Novak? How much do extra mags cost? Are there safety levers that protrude slightly for those of us that ride the safety is that just a decocker? :?:

You comments above and I'm sure you future comments are much appreciated! :D

forgive my ignorance, but what is a rotary barrel and how does it differ from a regular pistol barrel?

The rotary barrel as it sounds rotates as the slide moves backwards (instead of tilting as most pistols do).

The rotating action is more ideal as it will be more consistent in bullet placement since the barrel is always in the same position (just rotated).
There is also much less wear (if you compared) on the rotating barrel and slide.

The K100 seems like a real winner.

I have received a reply email from Yaroslav (K100) and he as mentioned that you can even have customized logos' or names printed on the slide if desired - even your name!

I can also order the pistol in any configuartion I like, so... my 'CGN special' is going to become reality!!!

This will be my next purchase... I just need to get the extra Cash together ^_^
hehehe

I may even order it out of haste and credit card before the end of the week ;)
we'll see.

Grand Power is getting my vote for coolest firearms manufacturing company ever... I mean, the creator is in correspondence and tailoring pistols for the customer *at a very reasonable price!*

~Cheers
