Grande Prairie Gophers?

Any good gopher areas in or around Grande Prairie Alberta?

I never seen a gopher in real life........So no Lots of yotes & wolves though and Bear season opened on Monday.

Southern Alberta is the place to go for gophers. If you want coyotes and wolves as TMaC said, and some of the best big game hunting, stay in northern Alberta.

I was born and raised in GP, and never saw a gopher until I moved to Central Alberta. (That doesn't mean they're not there, just that I didn't see any.)

I dont think they are anywhere north of the Athabasca River......never saw a gopher in GP in all the years I visited and shopped there......come to think of it, never saw any in Fox Creek either.......they seem to end on Hwy 43 just at Whitecourt......
