I've been looking at the fluted firing pin assembly to replace the J lock. Just wondering if anyone knows who carries Gre-Tan products in Canada? Is it still okay to order parts like this from the US without export permits?

Thanks for the help.

Just replace the J-lock in my 300wm with a Remington fluted firing pin assembly, ordered it from Gravel Agency, Remington Distributor

Big Horn Sales, they advertise here on CGN. The parts are very well made, problem is that Remington's are not. I bought a Gre-Tan striker assembly for my 700, it would not function as smooth as an original in any of my 3 Rem 700's. I spoke with a young man that has had a lot of experience with customizing the Rem 700 and he said the same thing, the aftermarket parts often don't fit properly. No fault to the manufacture of the parts, it is Remington that puts out lousy rifles. Get a Tikka and don't look back. I have had many and kept going back to Rem 700's, so many aftermarket parts for them, but the Tikka's just shoot so damn well out of the box. I will not be buying another Rem 700 ever. Hope this helps. Dave & The Girls

Brownell's, they always have stock and best price around (including shipping, exchange, etc) plus there is no paperwork required.
