Im looking into getting some .45 M3 Grease Gun magazines....


Doesn't seem to be any available in Canada, so Im guessing I have to get em from the USA.


Now according to the thread about mags from the USA, I need to:

A: Get them from a licensed exporter (willing to do paperwork if they are not already approved or submitted for export)

B: have them "pinned" or otherwise permanently limited to 5 rounds.




So does anybody know a place willing to do stuff like this? Do I need to have the mags pinned at 5 rounds in the USA, or could a gun shop here in Canada do the pinning if I ordered it through them (AKA they order the magazine and I pay them to get it)? I am looking at getting 1 magazine right now, since I am designing something... However If I can get it to work, i'd like to get, possibly up to 20 magazines.


Any info would be greatly appreciated! :D

the us will NOT approve MG parts and magazines over 10 rnds for export....

So does that mean yes or no as far as being able to get them?


I dont care if I have to pay 100 bucks to get the first magazine, right now its only for design's sake.
 
Basically, no, as far as you importing goes.
Why not just try a want ad in the EE. Not common, but I've seen a few over the years.

Yeah I know that I cant just order em from some shop in the USA.

Im seeing if basically, I can get some gun shop here (allowed to posses prohibited devices) to get the magazine for me, and do the work.


All my current USC magazines are permanently closed at the bottom (looks like sonic welded or something) and then I'm guessing blocked to 5 rounds, but they get the USC magazines at 10 rounds. So I know that some places have the ability to actually block or pin the magazines once they arrive here....


I might put an ad in the EE if I cant find anything though, I just don't think it'll be something I'll be able to find.
