The wind finally broke! I went to the range today to do a bit more testing with my 452 Scout, and the conditions were near perfect if it weren't for a bit of drizzle.

I set up a some targets at 50m, and 100m and was using CCI SV, and SK std+ again.

This time the lil' Scout slightly preferred the CCi SV, As it was more consistant... but the two best groups of the day were shot with SK standard +. To be honest, they both shot about the same, but the SK needed more fouling shots to settle down. The CCI shot bang on out of the gate.

Here's a couple pics of my range, the gun and the view through the scope at the 3'x4 stand.

Here are my groups at 50m. The first page was shot with the SK, and the second page of 8 bulls was shot with the CCI SV.

Bullseyes are 1" diameter. The bulls on the right were actually the top row and i was shooting left to right, top to bottom, and you can see how the groups started to tighten up as it went along, resulting in two really small groups at the end... Then i ran out of SK :(

CCI SV. Very pleased with this, because I have a lot of this ammo. The upper left target was sighting in... the pic is flipped 90 degrees for some reason.

Wasn't much happening at 100m... I got two groups on paper and ran out of ammo. This group landed between two targets. The second group once zeroed wasnt too bad though for a 7x fixed parallax scope.

8 shots, and these bullseyes are 2" diameter.

Here was 9 shots plus one flyer... I think if i had more time on the 100m line i could have pulled off a 1" group today.

All in all... Awesome day! Very happy with this little tack driver! Even more so now that it seems to like budget ammo as much as the pricey stuff.

Well Mikey, six dead chickens on the one target........pretty dang fine.
Nice to see it all coming together.

You're back yard?
