reliable gun sells the american eagle in the black box (super hot, about 3200fps) in the metal locking ammo tin for $369.00... this stuff is loud and nasty, super fun for p1ss1ng off the fudds

But my buddies AR15 with a 10 inch barrel and no muzzle deviece it shoots a 2 foot flame long by 1 foot wide and it's SUPPER loud.
The interesting thing I find on these threads are the locations that talk about the cheap prices they get on 1000 or 500 rounds compared to the OP but most of these places also have a higher sales tax (12 to 13%) compared to Alberta which is 5%. It still works out a little cheaper but not as much as one might be made to believe.
I would say this is not a factor in the cost of the ammo. Taxes does not reflect onto the price of the ammo.

If I go into a store in Alberta and purchase 1000 rounds of ammo for $399, I pay 5% tax ($19.95), for a total of $418.95. If I go into a store in BC and buy ammo at the same price I pay 12% tax ($47.88), for a total of $446.88. Difference being $27.99. Whenever I purchased ammo I've always had to pay the sales tax and I'm sure things in BC are the same.
I think he means that taxes go to the government and the price of the ammo goes to the store, So to compare what stores are selling it for you have to go with retail price. To compare what people are buying it for you have to include tax.
If most stores across the country can sell it for 379 regardless of tax amount then there is really no reason they all can't sell it for that amount. Other than wanting to make a bit more profit. And there is nothing wrong with that either. They set the prices and we decide if we buy or not.
I just bought my case for 359 plus 10% sale tax for a total of 394.90 but the real deal was being able to pick it up locally as shipping ammo is the real killer when it comes to great prices across the country.
