Ordered a K31 Sight Unseen...

... And I am VERY pleased! It turned out to be a 1941 in a 1953 Beech stock - and at a great price because the magazine is mismatched!

Your employees took the time to go up to the vault and hand-pick me one that he said was 'better than average' and I am very happy!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Calgary Shooting Centre. I placed an order last Monday at 8:00AM and by noon I had received a shipping notice and tracking number. The package arrived on Thursday and the box was full of all sorts of free swag.

Thanks for the Great Customer Service

I just wanted to thank you guys for the help with the mounting screws for the Aimpoint Comp4 sight I bought. The original screws that came with the mount were too long so your gunsmith took the time to take my call, find some that fit and send them to me in Yellowknife.

Another great experience at Calgary Shooting Centre

Hello Gunnuters,

I just wanted to say thanks to Devon at Calgary Shooting Centre!....:) This was my fourth visit to the CSC store, and like all the others it was excellent. Devon assisted me on three of the four occasions that I have shopped there, he is always very professional, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in helping the customer as well as making suggestions to make your visit a great one.

This time I bought a rife scope which turned out to be an excellent fit for my lever action Henry carbine. The previous trips were ammo and gun cleaning supplies.

I didn't realize this young fellow was a supervisor, I can see why they chose him for this position. He is definitely an awesome part of their team.

Thanks Devon and CSC for making my visit an enjoyable one!......:)

Would recommend this business to any hunter, shooter or sportsman/sportswoman.

I agree, I think you get what you pay for. Our LGS has minimum wage idiots, unfortunately they are not only stupid but very rude and unhappy to boot. Although I have spent thousands of dollars there, I now try to avoid it altogether.

Never a good experience with the wrong employees running your business.

While at one point this store had a great deal of knowledgeable employees, it’s my opinion that it is no longer the case.
Most of them have moved onto to other ventures and it seems like Devon is the only one who seems to know anything these days.

The older guys there don’t seem to have any interest in giving retail customers the time of day, and the younger ones I’ve over heard spewing so much incorrect information it hurt (yes, you can use your Glock 17 mags in a JR carbine).
Not to mention every time I’ve gone in there for a few boxes of ammo I find myself waiting 20-30 minutes just for an employee to help me out.

This place used to be great, but I’ll actually go out of my way to avoid it now as it’s just not worth it to me anymore.
 
This could be another reason he is a supervisor. Sorry to hear you feel it has gone down hill.

We need these LGS's to stay open and have a place to go just to shop around and buy cool things. I totally understand how you see it though. Our LGS here in Cranbrook is pathetic to say the least, they know they have the only gun shop around, the prices on items can sometimes be $200.00-$300.00 more than CSC.

Oddly enough the business is for sale as well.

Anyone need to invest 1.8 million dollars for a store?.........:)

This is my fourth time doing business with John, Markus and Thuan at Calgary Shooting Centre.
I am in Toronto, Ontario and Calgary is a long ways from me, there are probably hundreds of gun stores between me and Calgary, But I continually get the best service, the best price, the most professionalism, they make me feel like I am right next-door.
Fantastic experience once again, I will continue to tell people what a wonderful place this is,

They are great guys to deal with! just received my 3rd Beretta 1301C from them, but this one is the "PRO", the new style stock is a nice change along with a few other upgrades. The other 1301 C's relegated my Rizzini's to the back row, even let a few of them go, best all around shotgun I have ever owned and now with the serious stock upgrade, they may never get used again. The staff at CSC have always been very helpful and friendly and keep coming up with some very tempting one off specials, always something different, keep up the good work gentlemen.
 
Very helpful and professional staff. I have had a positive customer experience with each purchase.
I highly recommend this team to anyone, whether you are an old hand or just starting out.
