So a few guys at work had bought some new 22's and we got to talking and figured we should have a friendly competition. On saturday I hosted the first annual "Rimfire challenge" at my house. We kept it simple. 10 shots with any rimfire rifle, any sights or optics and shooting off the bench using a rest or bipod at 50 yards. Those were the only rules. In total we had about 20 shooters, some experienced and some first timers. Mostly 22's with a couple .17hmr. I had my gun available for any one to use. After a tie for Second place I managed secure my 2nd place medal in the shoot off! Everyone brought some food, the weather was perfect and we had a great afternoon of shooting. So grateful to be able to do something like this in my own side yard. Just thought I would share.
