I talked with the firearms tech and there is no FRT# for it. I could bring one in and go through the process but they feel at first glance it would be restricted as the barrel is only 18" Thoughts???

For rimfire barrel length doesnt matter. Over all length has to be 26" or greater

Looks cool, tell them to chamber it in a real calibre and then come see us.

Seriously though, do we really need another tactical .22? If it was chambered in .223, or even 9mm, then I'd say it would be a nice thing to look at for the right price, but if that's the case, have them add the half inch to make it non-restricted.

I like it! Looks like it comes with some flip sights and a threaded barrel. And I don't care that its not 5.56 or 9mm, which is why I visit the rimfire forum.

Neat little gun there. From the sounds of it, it can be converted over:

The ARX160 was designed as a lightweight rifle and is capable of automatic fire. Its notable features are polymer receivers with full-length picatinny rails on top, picatinny rails on sides and bottom. The ARX160 seamlessly integrates all of the little features that experienced operators always want in an individual weapon and these small details will win you over, if you needed help. It's lubricant-free for reliability in extreme conditions, has ambidextrous bolt catch/release, a quick-change barrel is ease of remove without tools, and a side-folding and collapsible stock, and 3 different magazine releases. It is easily converted to other calibers (such as 5.45x39mm, 7.62x39mm, and 6.8mm SPC).
