but it needs to be with a high-sensitivity receiver ( some Garmin have it.)
I wouldn't go in the wood without one ( always carry a compass for backup )

GPS for cars are also kewl...

I've had very good success with Bevan King's stainless barrels. Currently have one in .375cal and another in .257cal. Both are vg shooters.

Have another in .358cal waiting for the project to start.

Since price, and/or perceived value is not one of the terms of reference, it puts absolute performance as the single criteria.

Best product (and cheap) would be a rem 870 express. That poor shotgun has taken years of abuse no gun should ever have to indure. Lack of cleaning, horrible conditions, shot thousands of cheap shells, shot deer, grouse, ducks, and geese. It's only been fully stripped and cleaned once, and it was after it jammed on me this fall (had to slam shotgun against ground to eject shell) should be good to go for another few years of trouble free, and maintance free abuse :D
